"I am driven by a desire to make people feel something when they look at one of my images, to feel like they know the person, to want to know the story behind the photograph.

But it is not just about the photography, making beautiful images or creating art. I get a huge buzz out of showing clients their images for the first time. I love seeing their reactions and emotions as the memories come flooding back and they relive their day. Sometimes there are a few discreet tears, sometimes the tears flow freely but always there are big smiles and big emotions. Faces that don't stop beaming.

I am constantly amazed at the power of photography. That it can make people feel like that. That my photography can make people feel like that. After all, it is just the way I see, just what I do."

Louise Beattie's love of photography began when she was 15 when she bought her first "real camera". It was an interest that developed from a love of looking at beautiful images. However it wasn't until recent years that Louise found the courage to follow her heart and start her own business doing what she loves - photographing people, telling stories with her camera. She is rapidly growing a reputation for creating beautiful images that tell a story and evoke emotion.

Louise has trained with some of the world's top wedding and portrait photographers, presented a Masterclass at the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers Convention in London January 2011 and is the recipient of the Women Ahead Rising Star Business Award 2011.
